How would your company recover from a disaster such as a fire, flood, or power failure? How long could you continue to work and keep your business running if you had no IT infrastructure? IT business continuity aims to keep your company running, limiting downtime and costs.
IT Business Continuity is not just about being able to retrieve at very short notice the business data stored on the servers, but also to be in a position to use it and function normally in the event of a disaster. Having copies of the data back up tapes will not be enough if the necessary infrastructure is unavailable to utilise it.

The CompuSync Business Continuity Suite can provide access of electronic business data stored on the computer infrastructure. This is achieved by having a second server off site, configured to match the primary server(s), where data would be copied and held in the event of a disaster. When required, nominated users could have VPN access to the backup server until a proper internet connection was established between it and the network of company computers (whether existing or new in the event of a building loss).
